Recently, China’s first ammonia-powered tugboat was delivered to owner from COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Dalian) Co., Ltd, with BOS Ammonia Fuel Supply System and Exhaust Gas Treatment System onboard after successful commissioning and testing, which demonstrates the maker COSCOYP/CHIT's outstanding strength in the field of Alternative Fuel Supply System.

       As the first Ammonia Fuel Supply System applied to real vessels in China, the system which has advanced control algorithm and intelligent management system can quickly sense the load change, adjust the ammonia supply in real time, and fully meet the requirements of marine engines in various working conditions. The performance of whole system fully meets the design requirements, and the operation is reliable and stable. At the same time, the project team collaborated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and developed the exhaust gas treatment device that overcomes numerous industry and professional challenges. Its engineering application is also the first in China, which has excellent exhaust gas treatment capabilities, can comply with strict ship emission regulations.

 Adhering to the enterprise development concept of "Good Product, Good Service, Good Team", focusing on the national major strategic goal of "dual carbon", COSCOYP/CHIT actively promotes the research and design of alternative fuel (LNG, ammonia, methanol) supply system, and has obtained the recognition from various classification societies, obtained the world's first CCS Marine Ammonia Fuel Supply System Test Certificate, successfully delivered a number of new energy supply system projects, as well as a number of practical solutions according to different ship types.
