On June 10^th, 2025, BLUE OCEAN SHIELD Marine Methanol Low-flashpoint Fuel Control System which manufactured for M/V. COSCO SHIPPING YANGPU successfully completed the sea trail. It is independently designed by CHIT and fully meets the navigation requirements in various complex sailing condition. Its outstanding performance during sailing has earned global recognition and admiration from shipowners, shipyards, manufacturers of main engine and other parties. The success of this sea trail marks CHIT takes a significant leap forward in promoting green shipping, and implementing low-carbon or even zero-carbon solution

It is said that M/V. COSCO SHIPPING YANGPU is the china’s first large methanol fuel container vessel supplied by main engine and generator at the same time.
